Meet the team behind the plates
Hi Moms!
Welcome to Pregnancy Plate Planner, your go-to source for gestational diabetes meal planning. We’re a team of Moms, Reciepe creators and Registered Dietitians (RD’s) who have walked in your shoes, and we’re here to take the hassle out of meal planning during your pregnancy.
Our mission is to help pregnant moms with gestational diabetes easily find and enjoy delicious, healthy foods. We believe that eating well during pregnancy shouldn’t be a chore, but a joyous journey. That’s why we’ve created a platform where you can find meal plans, recipes, and personal insights from moms who have had gestational diabetes.
Our story began with a personal struggle. Our founder, a busy mom-to-be, was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. She found herself overwhelmed with the task of balancing her busy lifestyle, the demands of pregnancy, and the need for a specialized diet. She wished for a resource that could make meal planning easier, and when she couldn’t find one, she decided to create it. Thus, Pregnancy Plate Planner was born.
Every meal plan we create is approved by a registered dietitian, ensuring that it’s not only delicious but also nutritionally balanced for moms with gestational diabetes. We’re all about moderation and balance, not strict rules or fad diets. We believe that eating well should be accessible, sustainable, inspiring, and—above all—delicious.
Our blogs are written by moms who have experienced gestational diabetes firsthand. They share their personal insights, tips, and stories, creating a supportive community for moms going through the same journey.
At Pregnancy Plate Planner, we’re more than just a meal planning site. We’re a community of moms and dietitians who understand what you’re going through. We’re here to support you, inspire you, and help you enjoy your pregnancy to the fullest.
So, join us on this journey. Let’s make meal planning fun, easy, and delicious together!
Empowering moms-to-be, one healthy plate at a time
A little bit more about us
Our Process
At Pregnancy Plate Planner, we take your health and nutrition seriously. That’s why every recipe we share goes through a rigorous approval process by our team of Registered Dietitians (RD’s).
Our process begins with the creation of a delicious and nutritious recipe, designed with the needs of moms with gestational diabetes in mind. Each recipe is then reviewed by our RD’s, who analyze the nutritional content and ensure it aligns with the dietary needs of a healthy pregnancy and gestational diabetes management.
Our RD’s scrutinize every ingredient, considering factors like glycemic index, nutritional value, and portion sizes. They tweak and adjust as necessary, ensuring that the final recipe is not only tasty but also nutritionally balanced.
This meticulous process ensures that every meal you find on Pregnancy Plate Planner is more than just a meal; it’s a step towards a healthier, happier pregnancy. With us, you can rest assured that every bite you take is RD-approved!
